CIVIL LAW
Lorraine has significant experience representing clients at all levels of the Immigration and Asylum Tribunal, including in matters of Judicial Review. She regularly appears before the Court of Appeal and Administrative Court in Asylum and Immigration matters. Her cases involve representing appellants in asylum, human rights, human trafficking/modern slavery and deportation appeals.
Lorraine also acts for commercial clients, particularly in defending employers against the imposition of civil penalties for employing illegal workers and the revocation of sponsor licences. Most recently Lorraine has advised on, and subsequently secured, the cancellation of a civil penalty in the sum of £20,000.
