CRIMINAL LAW

David practises in the area of criminal law, specialising in commercial fraud and corruption matters, having previous experience in the Serious Fraud Office in London. He regularly represents clients charged with murder, drugs offences, violence, sexual offences and motoring offences. He also has particular expertise in confiscation and poca cases.

CIVIL ACTION AGAINST THE POLICE

His practice extends to civil liberties and in particular, civil actions against the police.

LANDLORD AND TENANT

He is regularly instructed in matters before the County Court,  High Court,  First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and Upper Tribunal and has appeared in various Appel court cases.  These include possession, in particular forfeiture of long residential leases as well as commercial tenancies, disrepair and service charge disputes dispensation for consultation, appointment of a manager and breach of covenant.  He has also acted for landlords and management companies in trials in the County Court and High Court and declaratory proceedings.
